About this apartment rental
Wake up on the Pasquotank River. The Dock House is a single-level waterfront condo in downtown Elizabeth City, with an oversized deck, porch swing, screened porch, outdoor dining, and your own boat slip and dock. Shops and restaurants are a short walk away.
Sleeps 7: two queen bedrooms, plus a third with full bed and a twin bunk. Every bedroom has a smart TV with Roku. 2.5 baths, full kitchen with Keurig, washer/dryer, board games, and a private office with river views and WiFi for remote work.
On the water: Arrive by sailboat or motorboat and tie up in your exclusive slip. Fish off the dock (bring your gear), or launch kayaks and paddleboards from nearby Waterfront Park, which has a free boat launch and trailer parking.
Explore: Great Dismal Swamp is nearby, and the Outer Banks are about 45 minutes away. Ideal for river activities such as fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or swimming, this location is also 45-minute drive from the Outer Banks and the OBX Waterpark, making it an excellent destination for day trips.
Good to know: Six steps up to the entry, then everything is on one level.

Up to four vehicles are permitted, with two reserved parking spaces and two spots in the central overflow area, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Beautiful setting and very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the boats and wildlife and taking in the amazing views. The place was within walking distance to several places downtown. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Lovely views, convenient location, super-responsive host, clean & spacious. Kitchen is well-stocked with the little things you’ll need. We didn’t notice that the kitchen island had drawers with additional items. Note that the coffee maker is a Keurig. They even have an Instant Pot. The decor is pleasantly sleek and modern. The bed in the bedroom facing the water is mechanically adjustable so that you can press a button and raise the head of the bed, and there are several other settings for someone who might need that. Unexpected luxuries. It was nicely quiet in this end unit. We appreciated that, apart from the steps to get up to the entry, this unit was all one level, which was nice for our older family members. Overall, it’s a fabulous location, peaceful, scenic, and a very short walk to the waterfront of downtown Elizabeth City. Highly recommend the restaurant Proof aka Paradiso Roma. Avoid Bistro Tropical.

Condo was walking distance to downtown. Covered porch overlooked the river and views of passing boats and ducks made morning coffee even more relaxing. Updated , clean and perfect for a family weekend!
