Cozy 3br/2ba condo located in the entrance of the resort village with deck sporting long range views and sounds of nearby creek! Easy 300 yard walk through resort parking lot to the base village, with biking, shopping, dining and brewery and taprooms open during season. The condo is above multiple rental shops and steps away from Beech Mountain Brewery and First Chair Coffee Shop!

We very much enjoyed our stay, the Condo is very nice, clean and was perfectly placed for our adventure! Our hosts were very friendly and tentative an absolute pleasure to work with! We would definitely love to visit again soon!!

First of all, let me say that the property was clean and well appointed., however, we struggled with a number of other aspects of the property. First of all, we were a motorcycle group traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and needed a place that would be an easy ride to and from that area. That was anything but that. We had no idea how difficult the roads would be to Beech Mountain and how treacherous the dozens of steep hairpin turns would be getting up and down from that property. The dense fog and rain added to the difficulty as well. By the time we got to the property, we were all a bundle of nerves and not excited about the prospect of having to go up and down that road each time we rode each day. I don’t know how people do it in the winter when it snows. When we arrived, the entrance and hallways were as described (kinda old and scary—watch your footing on the stairs), but the apartment was nice and a surprise considering what everything outside of it looked like. We loved playing games around the kitchen table at night, but getting to the sleeping quarters was a challenge. The spiral staircase to the upstairs is so steep and narrow that it’s hard to carry bags upstairs because you absolutely need to be holding onto the railing to keep from falling. The stairs are super narrow. The other drawback is that anyone using the two bedrooms upstairs would have to come up and down that staircase to use that bathroom since there wasn’t one on the second level at all. I should have paid closer attention to that when we made the reservation. Difficult to navigate those steep stairs at night in the dark. Master bed was a bit uncomfortable and squeaky when you move around in it. All in all, it was probably not the best choice for us, but we were looking for a place with three bedrooms that all had queen beds and that’s all that was available in the area we were looking in. Thank you for letting us stay there—the decor was very nice and the apartment is well taken care of.
