About this apartment rental
Enjoy the peace and quiet in the typical Engadine village of Guarda, where the Schellen-Ursli is at home. Surrounded by houses decorated with sgraffito, the Swiss National Park and unrivalled skiing and bathing opportunities, you will be greeted by the locals with a friendly Allegra in the street.
The 70m2 flat is on the first floor of the Chasa Sur Chafarrer in Guarda. The house is in a very quiet location just outside the village. From the balcony you have a marvellous view of the Lower Engadine Dolomites and the unique pine forests of the Lower Engadine. The attic flat, furnished with great attention to detail, exudes a cosy flair that will make you feel right at home! The dining table in the kitchen or the sofa area in the living room invite you to linger over a glass of wine and good conversation.
The supermarket and post office are located in the village centre (approx. 400m away). Guarda can be reached by post bus from Guarda/Giarsun railway station. Wonderful ski tours can be undertaken from Guarda into the Val Tuoi. The Motta Naluns ski area can be reached by car via Ftan in 15 minutes. The access road is regularly cleared in winter, but depending on snowfall and road conditions, snow chains or 4×4 drive may be an advantage. A pick-up service from the train station can be organised. In summer, the entire Lower Engadine is ideal for beautiful hikes, whether short or long. The hike from Guarda into Val Tuoi to the beautiful Lai Blau or the Schellen-Urseli hike are popular for young and old.
