About this apartment rental
Our house was built in 1671. The exterior walls of the first floor are made of fieldstone and are up to 70 cm thick. Above them is a rich Baroque half-timbered structure made of oak. The ceiling heights in the rooms are generous even by today’s standards. The house underwent a complete renovation from 2012 to 2016. We placed great emphasis on high environmental standards and used the original building materials—wood, clay, and lime. Space heating and hot water are provided by a wood pellet heating system. The result is two highly comfortable vacation apartments: the “Bergblick” apartment on the first floor with one bedroom (sleeps up to 2 people) and the “Moseltal” apartment on the upper floor with two bedrooms (sleeps up to 4 people). If you need more space, both vacation apartments in the house can be rented together to form a large vacation home with a maximum of 6 sleeping accommodations (3 bedrooms). A variety of hiking and biking trails run right past the house. For your daily needs (groceries), you’ll find everything in the neighboring town of Treis-Karden—easily accessible by bike or car. The local bakery is just a few minutes’ walk away. Enjoy sightseeing tours and day trips to Cochem and Koblenz during a boat cruise on the Moselle; the boat landing is right on the banks of the Moselle. Our home, lovingly furnished, awaits its guests.
We look forward to providing you with a wonderful getaway here with us on the Moselle—a warm welcome to you!
On-site costs: A lockable, ground-level basement provides storage space for bicycles.
Check-in is available from 3:00 to 19:00, and check-out is from 08:00 to 11:00.
