Cozy vacation home with beautiful garden

Layout and Amenities:

The first floor features a kitchen, bathroom, entryway, and living and dining area. The upper floor has 3 bedrooms with a total of five beds/sleeping spaces (one 1.60 m x 2.0 m double bed, two 0.70 m x 2.0 m single beds, and one 0.9 m x 2.0 m single bed).

The house features a beautiful garden with a covered patio, as well as an outdoor terrace and seating areas.


Living and dining area:
The living and dining area features a cozy dining nook, as well as a sofa, armchairs, and a TV.
In the center stands a wood-burning stove, which provides coziness and warmth throughout the house during the cold season.


Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, stove and oven, filter coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster. There is plenty of dishware available.


Bathroom:
The bathroom features a toilet, sink, and shower with plenty of room to move around.


Bedrooms:
There are three bedrooms on the upper floor.

The bedroom facing the garden has a double bed measuring 160x200 cm; the bedroom facing the front has two box-spring beds, each measuring 70x200 cm; and the small bedroom facing the front has a bed measuring 90x200 cm.

The larger bedroom facing the front also has a crib.

Notes:

The staircase leading upstairs is narrow; therefore, it is not recommended for people with limited mobility. It can be closed off with a gate for children.

Please bring your own bed linens, towels, and dish towels.

Garden:
The garden is quietly situated at the back of the house. The sun shines into the garden all day long. Next to the lawn, there is an outdoor patio as well as a cozy, naturally overgrown seating area. For cooler evenings, there is also a covered patio that provides shelter. A barbecue area rounds out the garden.

Location & Surroundings:
The house is located in the Den Osse / Meeuwenstein vacation park near Brouwershaven on the vacation island of Schouwen-Duiveland in the Delta Region of Zeeland (in the south of the Netherlands).

To the north of the island lies the Grevelingenmeer, to the south the Oosterschelde, and to the west the North Sea with an 18-km-long sandy beach and one of the largest dune areas in the Netherlands.

From the house, you can reach the North Sea beach in 10 minutes by bike (approx. 4 km).
At the Grevelingenmeer, there is a pier that offers easy access to the water and is just a 3-minute walk from the house. In addition, there is a small swimming beach at the Grevelingenmeer that is also suitable for small children.

The vacation park features a supermarket, a heated swimming pool, children’s playgrounds, indoor play areas, tennis courts, a mini-golf course, cafés, and restaurants, as well as a wide variety of rental services for boats, bicycles, stand-up paddleboards, and more.

A short walk across the dike takes you to the small village of Brouwershaven, which is part of Zeeland’s designated historic building complexes and offers several places to stop for a bite to eat. Scharendijke, with its restaurants and bars, is also within walking distance.

Nearby on the island are the towns of Renesse, Burgh-Haamstede, and Zierikzee, which feature many restaurants, cafés, and shopping options.
