Designer vacation homes in the Moselle Valley—modern architecture, sustainable living, plenty of natural light, and a breathtaking view of the Moselle Valley.
Groups of 2–6 people can enjoy their stay surrounded by vineyards. Built in 2023, the MOSELLODGE welcomes you with a massive floor-to-ceiling window and a breathtaking view of the Moselle Valley. With approximately 100 square meters of living space, including a sun terrace and private garden, you can relax in one of Germany’s most popular wine regions.
Sustainability and environmental responsibility have been our driving forces from the very beginning. That’s why we knew right away: the MOSELLODGE would be a wooden house. All materials used are meant to be in harmony with nature, which is why we’ve used only the highest-quality wood for the interior and exterior facades. Our vacation homes meet the latest thermal efficiency standards and are built with locally sourced wood. The heating system and electrical appliances are powered exclusively by solar energy from our own roof and certified green electricity.
Vacation home, separate toilet and bathroom/shower, 3 bedrooms:
The MOSELLODGE offers numerous quiet spots to relax, have great conversations, or simply enjoy the view from the gallery down into the Moselle Valley. Thanks to the exposed wood construction, you’ll immediately sense a healthy, warm, and unique indoor atmosphere. Our furniture is minimalist yet cozy, in the style of the Scandinavian “hygge” movement. A good night’s sleep is the foundation of a fulfilling day, so you’ll sleep in comfortable box-spring beds (180 x 200 cm). If you need additional sleeping space, you can make yourself comfortable on the sleeper sofa, which can easily be converted into a full-size bed (160 x 200 cm) complete with a slatted frame and mattress. Cots for babies are, of course, available upon request.
Two separate bathrooms await you at the MOSELLODGE. The main bathroom features a double sink and a walk-in rain shower. Just like throughout the entire house, it even has underfloor heating that extends all the way into the shower. Upon arrival, we’ll of course provide plenty of fresh towels. The bathroom also includes soap for your face and body, as well as a hair dryer. To reduce packaging waste, we use a refill system for all our products. Directly across from the main bathroom is another bathroom with natural light, featuring a toilet and sink.
For a delicious breakfast or a cozy dinner, you’ll find all the kitchen amenities you need: dishwasher, oven, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, stovetop, a tea and coffee bar, and something that’s a must-have on the Moselle: a wine refrigerator. It’s, of course, stocked with the finest wines from our favorite winemakers.
Opening the huge windows connects the living area directly with nature. The west-facing terrace offers unparalleled afternoon sun and breathtaking sunsets over the hills of the Moselle vineyards. You can also relax in the private garden, which features seating and its own fire pit.
Whether you’re planning a digital detox or simply can’t do without some entertainment on vacation, you’ll feel right at home at the MOSELLODGE. You can surf the web via Wi-Fi or enjoy cozy movie nights on the 55-inch TV. In the lockable basement room, you can also charge your e-bikes and stay mobile with your electric vehicles thanks to the wall box right next to the house.
