It was very welcoming with little notes and supplies. Also, the entire home was extremely clean. The only thing that caused a problem was that it was listed as having air conditioning and it didn’t. The owner said it had already been removed. That was unfortunate because it was difficult to sleep in a warm space.

Convenient location and quiet neighborhood. Cabin was well furnished with everything we needed. Bedroom was pretty tight (dimensions) for the queen bed. The step up into the cabin was a bit of a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The bath was smallish but very functional. However, we made it work and enjoyed our stay in Hampden.

This was a great stay for us! The cottage was exceptionally clean! There were so many wonderful additions like the snacks, soap, and detailed guidebook for the area. It is very clear that the Grover family truly cares about these cottages and puts so much love and care into making it a wonderful place to stay for all of their guests.

We love staying at MaineStay cottages. The cottages are clean, cozy, and conveniently located. Ivy thoughtfully provides a basket of tea, snacks, and coffee for guests to use until they can go to the store. You couldn't ask for a better host.
