Old Elementary School renovated into full overnight accommodations at New River SXS trails and Windrock Trails. Raymond, the 85 year old retired coal miner is the live in caretaker. It’s worth going to hear him tell about the history of the area going back to the 1930’s!

We had a great time there, the older man that stays there was very nice and talked to us for awhile about the history of the school and that he actually went to school there. In the middle of everything and very well maintained on the rooms, we stayed in the library and couldn’t be happier with what we got, definitely going to go back and stay there

This was our second time staying here! If going to Windrock, it takes a while to get in the park but definitely a beautiful ride to get there! Always very pleased with the Library. It has everything you need and very spacious for all guests. Bags of ice for purchase onsite or a small general store nearby! Highly recommended!!
