Ty Mawr consists of an open-plan kitchen/diner with a breakfast bar with four stools, a dining table seating six (extendable), two electric ovens’, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and wine chiller. The sitting room has a Smart TV, the cloak room has a washing machine. The bedrooms consist of two zip/link super-king size beds, with en-suite walk-in showers and Smart TV's, two king-size beds with Smart TV’s, and a single bed, serviced by a family bathroom. Outside, there is a private driveway with room for six cars and an enclosed patio with furniture. WiFi, electric central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. Two well-behaved pets welcome (only on the ground floor), but this is a smoke-free property. Ty Mawr makes a wonderful countryside base for large family get-togethers. Note: This property has a good housekeeping bond of GBP 500. Please note: during school holidays/peak times, property accepts only 7 night bookings. Please note: 3 day bookings must commence on a Friday.

The harbour town of Porthmadog is a little further along, where you can journey along the Ffestiniog Railway to the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, "the town that roofed the world". To the north is the pretty village of Beddgelert, which is set around the Afon Glaslyn River and offers craft shops, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants, and an enchanting riverside walk, and it’s also located in the stunning Snowdonia National Park, from where you can spend hours admiring the beautiful scenery on foot or by bike.
