Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom apartment that we like to call Hickory Cottage. This back unit duplex has a modern touch and stocked will all your vacation rental needs. An open floor plan shares the kitchen, dining room, and living area. The kitchen is stocked with the basics to cook a home cooked meal or to warm up left overs from the night before. The dining room table has enough room to host family game night while enjoying music or a movie on the tv. The TV is a smart TV perfect for streaming your favorites. The bathroom has an ample amount of space to spread out and get ready in. This unit does share the laundry in the breezeway between unit 1 & 2.

Our property features two charming homes, and this inviting lower unit is the ideal home base for your next getaway.

Each unit is intended to rent separately.

We enjoyed our stay and the property is just as it is in the pictures. Great location and easy to get to downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. Communication with host was great as power went out in the city and they sent a text with a link for us to check the outage area snd when the power would be returned.

The initial listing picture & address in the VRBO portal was deceiving because it was the front half of the house and did not specify a unit. The entry code provided worked when I got there, however, it turns out I was in the wrong unit. There was a second unit in the back that I was supposed to be in! It had one less bedroom which I didn't notice because I only had the cost filter on when I booked last minute. This caused issues with the person that was supposed to have my unit. The owners were able to get it handled quickly, so I still gave this an overall 5. I recommend they update the listings to specify unit # and outside picture prior to booking & use different entry codes for each unit to prevent this from happening in the future.

Good location/short drive to downtown Saugatauk. Clean beds and towels. Much of communication is outside of vrbo app. Kitchen pots and pans could use update.
