Arrowhead #4 - Walking distance to downtown Saugatuck, Updated studio

This is an ideal location to stay for the The Tulip Time Festival. The location in Sagautuck is convenient for access to the festival but far enough away from all the mass of people attending the event. The apt was very clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable for two people. A big plus was the town of Sagautuck. It's a beautiful charming small town, with a variety of things to do and the restaurants we ate at served delicious food.

Convenient property to Saugatuck & walkable to town in fair weather. The property was clean enough, but the dirty looking grout throughout the bathroom was not my cup of tea. We had impossible difficulties with the door code upon entry, which was not due to entering before checkin, as warned in the arrival instructions. Luckily, the after hours agent answered the phone & got us a code that worked after trying several different ones, 30 minutes later. We'd stay there again for the price (given that's based on remtal season) & convenience .

The space itself is nicely updated and clean. The only visible wear was peeling paint in the bathroom. I felt like some important items in the listing were inaccurate. Most importantly- there is no laundry even though the listing says there is. I wouldn’t have booked had I known that. There were other items specifically mentioned in the listing not present also. The only clothing storage was a small dresser. Some hooks or a hanging rod would go a long way. Our code didn’t work on arrival, and it took longer than you’d expect to sort out. Then the new code only worked once. I just let it go. We had an issue with the heat being on, but they came pretty quickly to help. The space was also smaller than it looks in photos. I had to tuck a pack n play in, and it left barely any living space to spread out. Then the only chair in the place was used to hold clothes I’d normally hang. This place really did not work for my kid and me. But it was clean and quiet and convenient to downtown. It just felt like some important things were overlooked or skipped, and the inaccuracies and other issues really soured my view of the experience. We will stay elsewhere next summer.
