Welcome to Port Place Paradise, a spacious retreat perfect for families and groups looking to enjoy both relaxation and adventure. With 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, this home offers plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still coming together to make memories along the river.
Step inside to find an open-concept main level with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and cozy living space—ideal for sharing meals, playing games, or winding down after a day outdoors. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, so you can cook with ease or bring back carryout from one of Ottawa’s many local restaurants.
This home is designed across three levels, giving each guest a comfortable place to recharge:
Lower Level: A poker room with a queen Murphy bed for extra sleeping space, plus a private king suite with ensuite bath.
Second Floor: The main gathering space with kitchen, dining, living room, and outdoor access, along with the master bedroom featuring a king bed and ensuite bath.
Third Floor: A fun-filled bunk room with three twin-over-queen bunk beds and its own full bath—perfect for kids, cousins, or friends to share.
Step out onto the decks to enjoy morning coffee, evening cocktails, or just a quiet moment soaking in the fresh air. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit for stargazing and conversation before retreating inside for a restful night.

The house was perfect for our 2 family stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The kitchen and living area is not as large but was adequate for our needs. The two car garage is great but didn’t fit our truck. We had a difficult time figuring out where we were suppose to park. The location was convenient. The house was very clean.

Quick trip to Illinois for fall break. My family loved the house. We all had rooms on separate floors and with teenagers they loved it! The area was really nice. Enjoyed some hiking at nearby Starved Rock State Park and Matthiessen State Park. Also drove in to Chicago quick for a Bulls game.

This property was perfect for a handful of kids, the loft bunk bed room was so enjoyable for them and spacious. The house was great and comfortably accommodated 5 adults & 5 kids. The staff at the Welcome Center were quick to respond and very friendly. We would stay there again!
