About this apartment rental

Detached house in the heart of the historic center of Ostuni, in a strategic position to discover the wonders of Central Puglia.

The house, with the typical structure of Ostuni houses, is located in a panoramic and suggestive position: it is set in one of the ancient towers of the city walls that surround and characterize the town. Inside it spreads over two levels: the entrance opens onto the living area furnished with double sofa, TV and fireplace, and a open-plan kitchen with oven, espresso machine and a dining table. From the kitchen there is access to the furnished terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Also on the same floor is the master bedroom and a bathroom with a bathtub. A staircase located in the living room leads to the upper floor where there is the second bedroom with a French-size bed and a room where the washing machine is located. Both rooms boast the beautiful view of the plain of olive trees, all the way to the sea.

The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot.

*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park, and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away), and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.

Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli, and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, the heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic of its Sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.

Brindisi Airport is a 35-minute drive away, while Bari International Airport is 100 km away.
