The sandy beach is within walking distance, so it’s not far to take a dip in the water or enjoy a relaxing stroll at sunset. Fishing enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy here. Look forward to a stroll down Gilleleje’s high street, where cosy cafés alternate with shops and art galleries. Treat yourself to some warm fish cakes for lunch and don’t forget the famous local rye bread. Enjoy an ice cream in the afternoon sun and watch the fishing boats coming and going from the jetty.
