Sea Side Serenity 6

Tucked away on a hill, but a 3minute walk to the restaurants and beach front. Gorgeous view of the ocean. Kulla was an exceptional host and treated us to welcome tea and biscuits and special homemade Easter treats! The facilities were adequate and homely.

Lage und freundliche Betreuung

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einwandfrei und extrem freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eine tolle Unterkunft, an der es nichts auszusetzen gibt! Der Garten ist fantastisch!

We (2 people) stayed two nights at the apartment and really enjoyed it. It is a one room apartment and the kitchen is somewhat sparsely equipped (no cutting board or cutting knife). The beds were OK so was the bathroom. The great advantages of the place is the balcony with its beautiful view of the sea and into the absolutely beautiful garden. It is also within an easy walking distance (5 minutes) to the beach promenade of himare without being to close. Also the older lady who takes care of it brought us typically Albanian dough balls (kind of like donoughts without the filling) one morning and gave us fresh apricots for the beach trip. The other morning we got a fresh cucumber from the garden, which were delicious! The other note worthy thing is that you have to walk through the beautiful garden up and down some steps to get to the place so it might not be suitable for a pram or people with mobility issues. Still we can really recommend it as a place to stay and explore the beaches.

The downside was that there is a rooftop bar (locca bar) nearby which plays music until midnight, which you can hear quite well when you leave the balcony door open at night.
