We had a lovely stay at Paka Apartment. We were warmly welcomed by Irene, the housekeeper, who was very friendly and gave us a detailed tour of the apartment. Maximus was also a very kind and helpful host. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and has a lovely vintage style, with a great sea view from the balcony. It was clean and well equipped with all the necessary kitchen utensils, although there is no washing machine. The swimming pool was beautiful, crystal clear and very well maintained. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away, and we also enjoyed walking a little further to Papa Remo Beach, where the water was beautiful and we could relax on sunbeds and enjoy food by the beach. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
There were a few things that could be improved. Drinking water was not provided on arrival, which would have been appreciated. The main issue was a power blackout during the night. Although the property has a backup generator, it was switched off around 11pm, leaving us without electricity for about four hours. It was very hot, and as we were travelling with children, it was uncomfortable not being able to use the air conditioning. The water system also stopped working when there was no power, so we had no running water during that period. Since 24-hour backup power was indicated at the property, we expected the generator to remain available during the outage. Also, the nearby beach had a lot of seaweed during our stay, although this may have been seasonal.

The apartment is beautiful, cleaning staff was great, and great location. We had a great time as a family and really enjoyed our stay.
The only thing I would recommend to be improved is the cookware in the kitchen. The no-stick pots and pans were very scratched not really usable.
