StockYards! Walk 3 Blocks-Ranch House sleeps 8

Convenient to the Stockyards

The description indicated it was 3 blocks to the stockyards - and perhaps while technically correct based on where the stockyards begin, it was much further down to the main area and restaurants etc. Certainly walkable but it was much further than 3 blocks - which was too much for my elderly parents. There were also some oddities within the house - there was a used knife and wine bottle cork and wrapper on the counter where the bar is - not a huge deal, but appeared the place was not cleaned very well - some electronics were left out on the desk in their boxes which gave impression that someone left in the middle of doing repairs - didn't affect our stay but a few outliers.

Nice backyard with a pergola. Lots of sitting room.

Lovely big spacious place to stay

Excellent location for a visit to the Fort Worth stockyards. The stockyards are a very short walk away and only a few minutes in an uber in midday heat. The property is very spacious and well maintained, there was more than enough space for our family of 5 and the house was equipped with everything we needed and more. We really loved the Western themed decor and the front porch! We had clear communication with the host David which made for easy to access property on check in and a great stay! Highly recommended this property and we will definitely stay again.
