A deeply disappointing stay marked by poor hygiene, faulty facilities, and unprofessional service.
The resort property itself has potential and the concept is interesting, but unfortunately the service, hygiene, and maintenance issues overshadowed any positives.
The check-in experience was extremely unprofessional, as my confirmed Booking.com reservation was denied and I was pressured to pay again on arrival. The room was unhygienic, with dirty bedsheets, hair on the floor, and cigarette butts outside the room. Staff response was slow and inadequate, and escalation to senior management was ineffective. After a delayed room change, the upgraded room had a faulty spa/jacuzzi that caused flooding and safety issues, especially for children. Maintenance and housekeeping were unable to resolve the problems, leaving the bathroom unusable for hours. Overall, poor hygiene, faulty facilities, lack of accountability, and ineffective service recovery completely ruined the stay.

I would not recommend as hotel for seeing the city. More an indian experience itself to stay there!
Beds are comfortable, and room was quiet! Convenient the access to villages where there are shops and nice walk to see very indian culture.
It is not well maintained! It is very old and not up to date or renovated! I would not recommend if you are expecting modern and international standards. Location is not good!

    Staff need some training
The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous , can't fault that, the swimming pool was a highlight, we arrived approx 3pm and were told the bar was open, we went around 4pm nobody there, I called reception and they said it was open. We were told there was 1 restaurant in the village that we didn't need to prebook, when we went in we were asked where our token was, we said we were told we didn't need to prebook, turns out you need to have a token from the hotel to get into the restaurant so that was confusing. Staff were plentiful around the place but had a habit of staring and it was uncomfortable to say the least. Also they insisted on taking luggage to our rooms and then one of them lingered around for I assume a tip, didn't get one, and rolled his eyes and left. Tipping is for going above your job spec, he didn't even speak to us. We carried our own bags out of the place when we left. Room service prices were steep, 1000 rupees for 2 small milkshake/cold coffees that weren't good. Breakfast was amazing food and a great spread, staff there were great to be honest , we had dinner at the royal dining are and that was pretty good too. (Although server lingered/stared too much too) The actual village itself was really fun (recommended to not go as it opens as its empty and most stuff isn't actually opened yet) there are lots of signs saying no tipping but you will still get asked for tips from some people, I'd advise just not doing it. They also charged us twice for the room when we booked initially, they have told me they didn't, and I provided 2 statements of seperate charges from them, they told me they'd look into it and I never heard back , we disputed the 2nd charge with our bank and they also tried to contact them to rectify and they didn't engage with our bank so they are handling it from there.

Please focus on food taste and quality
    Outlook, outside area
They didn’t address to request, nor responded even after 4 calls, we wanted to change room bcz of extreme noise by Swans.. Indian food was good but caesar salad was very bad. In room dining staff should listen to instructions carefully. Buffet food quality and taste is dropped

    Choki Dhani hotel stay
The hotel premises is very unique. Ethnic surroundings make one feel at peace. Food is good. Evening live program and buffet were nice. The attached village which is free for guests of the hotel is a good 2-3 hours activity and is a unique experience.
As long as you are inside Choki Dhabi, it's all fine. The moment you step out, it is dirty, dusty and uncontrolled traffic. That's why my rating for the location is lower. They wouldn't allow a friend who was visiting me for a private meeting to enter asking him to pay an entry fee. I found this odd as most hotels I have used do permit this as long as they don't stay over for the night.
