Comfortable 1 Bedroom condo

The instructions for arrival were clear and easy to follow. When I arrived, I contacted the designated person and was promptly let in and guided by phone all the way to the room. I arrived around midnight, and the host was very accommodating, which was greatly appreciated after airport travel. The location worked out great for my trip. It was about an 8-minute walk to The Studio at the Bomb Factory (concert venue). We personally enjoy dive bars, live music, and a more energetic nightlife atmosphere, so the neighborhood was great!! The apartment is also right next to the DART station, which made getting around very convenient. If you are comfortable using public transportation in an urban setting, including being around interesting individuals at times, it is a very accessible location.

For 3 of the 5 days of my stay, the elevator was out of service :( Since the apartment requires climbing 104 stairs, it became a bit cumbersome, especially after long days of sightseeing and walking around the city. The building seems to be a mix of short term rentals and residential properties so smells from neighboring apartments occasionally drifted into the unit, including cooking odors, cigarette smoke, and other recreational smells... While towels were provided, I would recommend bringing your own if possible, as the ones available did not feel particularly fresh or clean. The sheets also had some noticeable staining, although I was able to use extra sheets and blankets that were available. Overall, it was still a nice little place to stay. It had the feeling of staying at a friend’s condo rather than a traditional rental, which gave it a more relaxed and lived-in atmosphere :)

The location was perfect. We decided not to rent a car and use uber. We came for the Warriors/ Mavericks game, Pappadeaux restaurant and shop. Everything we did was no more than 5 miles away From the condo. And again it was very roomy, comfortable and clean.

The building is a little old but that’s no fault to the host.

Great location, easy remote check in.

Location was great, right in the middle of Deep Ellum. Ton to do in walking distance and so close to a train. The bed was very comfy, the place was spacious, clean, and the bed room got really dark (easy for sleeping). Also, Dwayne was very helpful and responsive and helped us a few times quickly. He was very nice, helpful and responsive.

The couch leg was broken and the bathroom was slightly dirty (as in could have had a deeper clean).
