Mycenae rustic house, Ολόκληρο σπίτι στις Μυκήνες

Die Haus ist perfekt! Toll gelegen, um die Ausgrabungen zu besichtigen (Auto erforderlich; ca. 2 km entfernt). Alles war wunderbar; unser Bett war extrem bequem. Der Hinterhof ist mit einem Tisch und Stühlen ausgestattet und eignet sich perfekt zum Essen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Der Gastgeber hat ausserdem ein Restaurant in Argos, Mezedokipos genannt, wo man einfach göttlich speisen kann!

Die Zeiten zum Ein-und Auschecken waren sehr komfortabel. Die Wohnung war geräumig mit gemütlichen Wohnzimmer. Die Bettdecken waren sehr bequem.

Dei Terrassen und der Wäscheständer waren runtergekommen, die Küchenutensilien klebrig. Es gab kein Küchenhandtuch. Die Matratzen waren ausgelegen und weich.

Self check in was easy. 2 queen sized beds was good for our family of 4. The outdoor/neighbour cats were cute. We cooked our own breakfast and dinner and the kitchen had every tool imaginable. I recommend buying oranges at the nearby roadside stands!

The property mostly looked like the photos except that it had additional clutter/decor that wasn't shown. It felt like someone had moved out for the weekend so we could stay instead of it being a full time rental property (some food/spices left in cupboards & fridge). The layout requires you to walk through both bedrooms to reach the kitchen. Would not be ideal if you want privacy in the bedroom. We stayed at the beginning of April (still low season) and Mycenae is a ghost town after the busses leave. I wish the host had warned us that there are no large grocery stores and there are no restaurants open in the evening. You MUST drive 12 - 20 minutes away. I would have preferred to stay closer to Nafplion or Argos. There is a new building being built on the property and the garden area appeared to be under renovation as well.
