Thoroughly enjoyed our stay whilst hiking the jurassic coast

Great for the able bodied and in a lovely area.
The house was comfortable and well equipped. It was mostly clean - we notice UNDER tables, sofas and beds when retrieving toys etc, these areas were not clean. The house has nice walks in the area and especially to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. There is a pleasant pub in walking distance for food and a nice Sunday dinner. The house is convenient to many attractions inc. the Tank Museum, Swanage kayaking, Poole Harbour etc
The house is listed as having parking but when we arrived we not only discovered it has NO dedicated parking area but also that at certain times the on street parking is all gone too. This was a major stress on our Sat evening arrival after several hours driving and having to cart all our bags and a disabled labrador into the house up several narrow steps or from along the street at the rear and down precarious steps in the back yard or through a private garage area. A very stressful start. There is nothing in the listing detailing all the steps both to the front door and in the house - to the kitchen, and throughout the small garden. Our dog was confined to the living room and we couldn't use the garden at all. We had to set up barricades to stop him hurting himself by trying to be with us even in the kitchen. The road out front is very busy and noisy from 6:30am to after Midnight. The local Londis is terrible for anything fresh.

A great location with a short walk down to the cove and plenty of walks along the coast line.
The location was excellent. The property was very well equipped and comfortable.
The curtains would be better if they were thicker or with a better lining to stop the sun/daylight coming through.
