The Calm Oasis

My room was very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax and move around, which was especially appreciated since I stayed for a full week. I also loved having a small terrace. Although it wasn’t large enough to spend much time on, and the mosquitoes made it difficult to sit outside for long, it was still a lovely feature to have. The staff were kind and attentive. I even made a mistake when booking an extra night, and they were very accommodating and helped me resolve it without any problems. Keep in mind that not all staff members speak English, but with the help of Google Translate, I was able to communicate easily. Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The TVs in the entire hotel are not working, which was not a problem for me since I did not really use it. However, I did hear another guest who was very upset because a feature advertised by the hotel was not available. The hotel does feel a bit older and quieter, and because of that, some areas do not look as pristine as they could. The bathroom, for example, showed signs of age, and the pool area would benefit from having a shower available for guests.

We arrived just before sunset and immediately noticed how calm the property felt. After settling into our room, we enjoyed a quiet evening before starting the next day with a satisfying breakfast. The location made it simple to reach both the city center and Angkor without spending much time on the road.
