I had such an amazing stay. You know what they say about people in Kenya being very much hospitable. I loved it. The flat was clean. the hot water was hot. it's a great location! it's near everything for the most part. So, transportation was never an issue. there's a feeling of security in the area, so I never actually minded walking around(obv always take the obvious precautions); the apartment building itself is nice and safe. it's very quiet, mostly at night, so, I got some of my best sleep. the host, Alps, superstar, was really cool, very kind, always responsive. The flat was also serviced regularly. I would absolutely recommend it.

The electricity would sometimes run out pretty fast and from time to time the WIFI would just give up on life. However, the host, was always there to find a solution.

The place is kind of well connected and easily accessible to cabs coz basically everything in this building is an Airbnb. The furniture inside pretty good - not life changing but not bad either. Hot water through all the taps. The offer cleaning if you stay for long enough and the cleaners do a good job. Alphine is pretty goof with comms once we got to talking (it was a bit of a problem day 1)

Not about the apartment but about the building - everything here is an Airbnb! It’s not noisy, but it’s not peaceful either. If you just want a place to sleep this isn’t something you care about but it you’re on a special kind of trip then this place will make you feel a way. At night especially there’s always activity downstairs. Lastly the whole building reeks of Chinese. They did the basics well, they failed on everything they isn’t basics. If you’re a nit picker there will be a lot of nits to pick. None of these are about this apartment specifically but about the entire building it’s in. About this apartment specifically - it does have a distinct cigarette smell even though they warn you not to smoke. The bed is also broken in the corner but I told them and they said they’d fix it so maybe they will.

Je n’aime pas laisser des avis négatifs, mais je préfère être transparente. Même si la propriétaire a été assez réactive sauf pour les cafards, l’expérience globale reste décevante. Jour 1: je n’ai pas pu accéder à l’appartement réservé car la précédente cliente a prolongé son séjour. Cela n’aurait pas dû m’impacter, mais c’est moi qui ai dû changer de logement. Jour 2: changement laborieux vers 12h30, le ménage n’était pas terminé (femme de ménage présente, machine en cours, appartement non prêt). La propreté était insuffisante (cheveux, surfaces et couverts sales, présence de cafards (blattes) vraiment ce qui m'a le plus dégoûté. Le logement donne l’impression d’un Airbnb à fort turnover, avec un ménage fait en surface. Mon pyjama, laissé plié sur le lit, a été déplacé et retrouvé posé dans l’armoire à l'arrache, ce que je n’apprécie pas. C’est un gros immeuble d'Airbnb mais pas de terminal CB à l'accueil et obligation d’aller dans le café attenant, avec un supplément de 500 shillings demandé par la propriétaire pour la transaction, que j’ai refusé de régler. Enfin, le dernier jour, je me suis retrouvée sans électricité car le boîtier prépayé n’avait pas été rechargé avant mon arrivée. J’ai dû contacter la propriétaire via 2 canaux, elle a été réactive par téléphone mais pas WhatsApp et j’ai dû gérer moi-même en descendant à la réception en pyjama. En rentrant plus tard, un seau avec un drap dedans a été déposé dans la chambre, je ne sais pas pourquoi mais donc, des personnes entrent en mon absence sans m’en informer. La prestation globale n’est malheureusement pas au niveau.
