Palazzo Boccapianola

This property is perfectly located near the entrance to the Old Town. Easy to walk out the entrance to the old town and be surrounded by activity and restaurants galore. A 15-20 minute to the train station. But for us staying in Old Town was superior with the quaintness, the many, many restaurants, piazza’s and truly feeling the life of the Italian traditions. This stay would not have gotten this perfect review if it wasn’t for our host Pasquale! A gem! His thoughtfulness and sincerity were outstanding! We’ll be back for sure!

Really nothing. It was occasionally loud at night with the windows open, but this is where we felt the Italian vibe!

It's not often that you stay someplace that is the perfect accomodation, along with being in the perfect location AND has the perfect host. Palazzo Boccapianola is all three! In all our travels, we have never experienced a host that was as warm and accomodating as Pasquale. He met us at the car park (he was even there before we arrived!) and drove us with our very heavy luggage close to the apartment, then walked us the rest of the way. He insisted on carrying my bulky suitcase up the stairs. From the moment we met, you could tell that he truly cared about providing a perfect experience for us. The apartment was spotless and above and beyond anything we expected. The bed and pillows were wonderful, the little extras like coffee and snacks, the beautifully decorated interior and the lovely balcony all helped to make our stay wonderful. Oh and the shower! It was amazing to have a shower in Italy like this one! On our departure Pasquale came early in the morning to meet us to walk us, as well as our luggage, to our car. I would 100% stay here again and again and highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Pasquale for helping to make our stay in Bari absolutely perfect!

There was absolutely nothing to not like. Everything was perfect!

We stayed for 3 nights at Palazzo Boccapianola as part of a 2 week trip to Puglia. Pasquale met us very close to the property, he was a very welcoming gentleman and kindly helped with our luggage and also kept in touch with us during our stay. We had the 2nd floor apartment, it was very stylish, spacious, bright, exceptionally clean, with a well equipped kitchenette, very comfortable bed, good quality bedding, lovely bathroom with a proper hairdryer. We enjoyed using the balcony to have our breakfasts and also to sit there in the evening with a glass of wine watching the world below go by. We didn’t have time to use the property’s roof terrace. The location was perfect to wander around the old town but also close to the shops in the new town. We had complimentary transport arranged by Booking.com from the airport to the property and we had heavy luggage but if we had been travelling lighter, we could have taken a train from the airport as the property is easy to get to from Bari train station. We would definitely recommend Palazzo Boccapianola to anyone looking for a beautiful apartment in Bari Vecchia.

Pasquale is a very engaging, helpful host. He arranged taxi to airport for us. There was also a welcoming bottle of wine for us. The apartment is well appointed with excellent bathroom and access to a roof terrace. Location is superb.

Stairs maybe a challenge for some guests.
