I loved how the place was so clean and modern, furniture matched with the vibe of the place and everything was just organised.

I just hoped for a bigger tv as the distance between the couch and Tv makes it hard to see… especially during the day.

Location was perfect, and the property had plenty of space. There was lots of natural light and solid windows that could block out noise from the busy road. The property and its recently added amenities are perfect for a solo traveller.

While the property was enough for one person, it lacked basic amenities for a long-staying guest. The host, although friendly and entirely amenable to the guest's requests, did not anticipate simple needs. Instead of the gas stove (as shown in the property photos), there was an old two-plate coil stove and very worn-out pots and pans. The guest had to request that the stove, pots, and pans be replaced on the first day. The guest also had to request additional cutlery and glassware. While the apartment was clean and tidy, and everything served its purpose, small but important things like the cutlery, bedding, towels, curtains, clothes horse, and mats were worn and shabby. It was also frustrating to rely on the host for entry/exit codes every day and track electricity usage on their behalf. While the guest accepts that the host was going the extra mile, it was still frustrating to think of and support the host in their duty of anticipating the guest's needs, i.e., closing the loop. For example, providing a clothes horse but no clothing pegs, a dish drying rack but no dishwashing soap or clean sponges, or a washing machine but not enough detergent for the duration of the stay. The guest felt compelled not to ask too much of the host and had to organise their own supplies to make the stay easier for themselves. The property could also do with a desk and chair to complement the reliable Wi-Fi; many long-staying guests work from home, and this additional furniture would have made the stay far better. For the next guest, I strongly recommend that the hosts upgrade their amenities, anticipate their guests' needs, and find ways to enable a more independent stay.
