Espectacular desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos

We absolutely loved Sky Beach Resort the old Florida vibe was so cute and kitchy the rooms were updated and super clean. The beach area was a little disappointing but still cute just small. The pools, hammocks, beautiful gardens, tons of mature tropical trees, hundreds of photo ops and insanely delicious food at the coffee shop, restaurants and bar on property absolutely make up for it. If you're looking for a unique old Florida resort experience this is it!!! If you're looking for a beach getaway this place might not be for you.

Great stay

Upon check-in, we were looking forward to the 'welcome glass of champagne upon arrival' advertised in the hotel's promotional flyer, but unfortunately, this amenity was not offered. Furthermore, upon arriving at our initial room, we noticed a strong, unpleasant odor. We reported this to the front desk, and while the customer service interaction felt somewhat dismissive, a housekeeping supervisor was promptly sent to inspect the issue. We then requested a room transfer, which was successfully accommodated, though the service delivery remained noticeably unenthusiastic. ​Fortunately, our new room was quite pleasant and very comfortable. The pool area is generally nice, but the water did not feel heated as expected, and we noticed a few areas that would benefit from a deep cleaning to remove visible mildew. Additionally, the beach area fell short of expectations due to a noticeable odor and significant algae accumulation, making it less of a traditional beach experience. Some stones on the walkway to get to the room were loose. Bathroom door was hard to open from the inside. ​Overall, the property appears to have undergone recent renovations, but it still requires some ongoing maintenance and refinement in both its facilities and front-line hospitality.
