Afro Smile Hotel & Guest House

La pequeña piscina es genial cuando vuelves al hotel. La comida estaba exquisita y el personal es muy amable.

The location is easily accessible and safe, it was my first time to sleep in a hotel with windows open without worrying about safety and the breakfast especially on day 3 was very tasty. The artsy finishings, aesthetics of the room/gardens gives a nice ambience. I didn't know they have the DORMITORY ROOM which is very spacious with 6 sleeps, a large couch, enough space for storage in wardrobe, a large counter top/ below it for extra storage, side storage on lower bunk beds and more storage on bedside tables. The fan worked and there was no need to use it with fresh air circulating and room smelling fresh during my stay. There is a swimming pool for guests and during this hot & dry season cooling off in the garden pool is soothing. The Internet was good which got me getting some work done. The host and staff are welcoming and hospitable. Its value for money to have all this at such a cost. It turned out to be a hidden GEM.

On day 2 the water was too hot to take a bath.

Very enjoyable stay. Lovely spacious hotel with lots of areas to relax (outdoor lounge, swimming pool, room balcony) and unwind. Breakfast was fantastic (included fresh squeezed juices), staff very helpful and courteous. Good location for Jinja. Highly recommend.

The hotel is suitably located near Jinja City Centre. This allowed so much accessibility to the activities we had planned for and the food we wanted to try. In terms of activities, the team at AfroSmile planned our sunset ride at the Source of the Nile allowing us to save some serious coins. Finally, the breakfast was always on point, nourishing us with a well balanced mix. We left happy with how hospitable we had been treated to the extent of extending our check out time to accommodate our bus' departure time at 6pm. Thank you AfroSmile team.

The hot water shower wasn't reliable. It was sunny and hot while we were there so we adapted.
