Location in Sunset Town had a great view of the fireworks. Rooftop pool quite nice. Apartment was surprisingly spacious and had a washing machine. 2 bathrooms and three TVs made it feel at home.

The booking.com page says payment is via debit/credit card or bank transfer. However, on arrival, we were advised that the "landlord" only accepts cash. Despite showing the person who met us there what the booking states, she was adamant it was cash only. This person does not work for the Sunset Hillside Apartments, the unit is privately leased (Airbnb style). As such, we had to then go and find an ATM, withdraw $25 million VND and pay in cash. This was not only a disruption and not in good faith with the Booking, but it cost me $100 AUD in ATM fees. Person collecting money was not willing to take up our cause.

Auf Booking war die Adresse nicht korrekt hinterlegt. Dadurch habe ich 45 Minuten warten müssen, um einzuchecken. Obwohl ich bei der Buchung meine Kreditkarte hinterlegt hatte, musste ich beim Check-in bar bezahlen. Davon steht auf booking nichts. Da ich nicht genügend Bargeld bei mir hatte, musste ich dreimal Geld an einem Bankautomaten abheben, wobei jedes Mal Gebühren von 10 € anfielen. Mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass sich der Pool im 16. Stock befindet. Als ich diesen nutzen wollte, war er jedoch leer und ausser Betrieb, und dies während meines gesamten Aufenthalts. Am dritten Tag meines Aufenthalts musste ich die Tür meines Apartments offen lassen, damit ein Techniker etwas überprüfen konnte. Zwei Tage später musste ich für die letzte Nacht sogar das Apartment wechseln, da erneut Reparaturarbeiten durchgeführt werden mussten. Diese beiden Vorfälle haben meine Pläne an zwei Tagen stark durcheinandergebracht und waren insgesamt sehr störend und enttäuschend.
