About this apartment rental
We are John and Isabelle and our completely new guest studio adjoining our house awaits you to spend a relaxing holiday in the middle of the vineyards, in a small village in the Gard, just 10 km from the Cevennes. You will have total independence thanks to a second entrance located in front of the studio. A small private terrace will allow you to take your meals outside, you can also enjoy our swimming pool, to share with us, in the summer period (usually at the beginning of June) and our petanque court.
Our accommodation consists of a main room with an equipped kitchen area, a living/sleeping area with a sofa bed for 2 people and a bathroom with shower and toilet. A mezzanine of 1m60 high with a bed for 2 people completes the accommodation.
In front of the entrance of the studio is a small shaded terrace with a table and 4 chairs, to allow you to take your meals outside. In this space there is an electric barbecue with water collector available.
We live in a charming little village located only 10 km from Anduze, gateway to the mountains of the Cévennes National Park, ideal place for hiking and other nature sports. Various activities are possible such as the Bamboo Grove, the Trabuc cave, the steam train, an animal garden, a tree climbing park, bike rental... There is also the Gardon river, suitable for swimming and canyoning. The nearby mechanical pole of Alès will appeal to car enthusiasts. Not to mention the night market of Anduze in July and August!
We are 30 minutes from Nîmes la romaine, Uzès with its exceptional Saturday morning market, the famous Pont du Gard and other medieval villages.
One hour from the beaches (Palavas-les-flots, la Grande-Motte...) and the Camargue, you can see new landscapes and enjoy the sea!
And to discover local and seasonal food products, the many markets and restaurants in the region will charm you.
We offer you optional guided tours and vehicles in the region since it is my job (Isabelle).
I can also, if you are interested, have you test my soaps and cosmetics made from donkey milk (John).
