About this house rental

Disclaimer: We are a Pro Trump, Pro Israel property. This place is a right wing fortress refuge in an extremely blue city. We live adjacent to this property. While we are willing to rent to anyone and respect the rights of others to have their own political beliefs, we do have to let you know there are offensive signs around the exterior of the property. It is still very Private, safe, and quiet located just a few miles from downtown Pittsburgh. Minutes from major attractions such as Acrisure Staidum, PNC park, Downtown Center, The Point, and North Shore. This location is perfect for travelers looking to visit the city without having to deal with all the chaos associated with staying inside the city. We border Riverview park (there’s a walking bridge at the top of the street to the right) where visitors love to enjoy the beautiful landscape with many wildlife that live amongst the property with help from this park. We have many deer 🦌, turkey 🦃 , cats 🐈‍⬛ , gold finches, robins, owls 🦉, cardinals, blue jays, hummingbirds, mockingbirds and hawks that live around the area that are often seen by guests. Even the occasional fox 🦊 will pay us a visit once in a while. This is a great city place with the feel of country living.

The host was friendly and kind. He communicates exceptionally well. The property was conveniently located for all our activities in Pittsburgh. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Nice TV. The outside picture of the property in the listing looks different, but had no impact on our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we could see ourselves staying again.

Very convenient location to Acrisure Stadium but far enough away to not get stuck in the traffic and chaos of it when leaving an event. James was kind, informative and ready to help us in anyway we needed! Would definitely stay here again

Minutes from downtown and a short trip to Oakland, near arenas and sports. We saw wildlife every day! It was a perfect stay. Everything was as advertised and the manager, James, was super easy to work with and has deep roots in the area so is full of useful tips and advice if needed. One of the neighbors has foul language on the outside his house down the street, but obviously is a little cowardly troll living under a rock and never came outside to cause problems.

The property was easy to find and accurate to the description. Our host was responsive, honest and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again. The drinks available in the fridge were perfect for our needs and everything was easy to find/use in the home. The bathroom was spotless and bedrooms were pristine and inviting. The couch in the living room was comfy as well for relaxing after a late night concert would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The house definitely felt like home and James was the best host and available any time we had questions. We were close to downtown and everywhere we wanted to go. Can’t wait to stay here again soon!

I can not say enough about this place. It's beautiful and peaceful. The location is perfect, close enough to everything you would need. It's a home away from home. The host is amazing and honestly one of the best. He was accommodating and easy to talk to. He made our trip and stay seamless. I'm already planning our next trip. If you want a great place to stay in a beautiful city please take my advice you won't be disappointed.

James is super nice, extremely accommodating, thoughtful and hospitable. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was delightful. Anything we needed, James was willing to ensure we had it even if it meant he needed to go out to get it. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed including some unexpected refreshments. It's close to all popular attractions and in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay again if we return to Pittsburgh.

We were looking for a very nice place to stay when we were in town for a wedding, without spending a fortune. This was a lovely home in a nice neighborhood so close to the wedding venue in Pittsburgh. Just perfect. It was nice to come home to - nice kitchen and cozy updated family room, awesome TVs in both bedrooms and family room. Loved the dressing table outside of the master bath. Good closet space. And quiet. Also it would be great for out-of-towners coming in for a football weekend. The owner is thoughtful and supported our every need. It felt like home. It's not the place to walk to shops, etc. But it's very conveniently located. Just minutes by car to everything.

The house was clean and cozy. Property manager was helpful and quick to respond with any questions.The refreshments in the fridge was a pleasant surprise. The only recommendation I have is to add some more cooking supplies in the kitchen. We all agree that we would definitely stay here again!

We came to town for the Liverpool game and needed a place to rest before we came home in the morning. This house was clean and comfortable and priced exactly right. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again if we’re back.

A great place to stay when visiting Pittsburgh.

What a Peaceful calm Beautiful stay we had. As we were drinking our coffee on the balcony. A deer just very confidently and gracefully walked in the back. He stopped he knew we were quietly watching. He was munching in the grass. He walked up the lil hill side of trees. Munching on some leaves. Very comfortable place. Very nice Guy! The location was great for us. Nothing took more than 15 min to get to really. I will definitely be staying again when we come to Steel City.
