Le Soleil au Paradis (from the Pyrenees)
On one level, new (built in 2022, RT 2012 standard), sunny (in general!), with a large garden (accessible from the living room and the master bedroom), this house has two bathrooms. 5 minutes from the centre of the village on foot, 15 minutes from the famous thermal baths and casino, as well as the municipal swimming pool (with views of the surrounding mountain from the outdoor pools), it will be perfect for families or friends coming to take a cure in Vernet or wishing to go hiking, mountain biking or simply visiting the surrounding area. The Casteil Animal Park is a 10-minute drive away, as well as the fortified town of Villefranche de Conflent. The superb abbey of St-Martin du Canigou can be reached on foot or by Jeep.
The area is very quiet, even in high season.
In the surrounding area (Prades, Abbaye St-Michel de Cuxa, Villefranche and also Vernet) the Pablo Casals Chamber Music Festival takes place this year from July 28 to August 8. A special rate is offered for the entire duration of the Festival. See price at the bottom of the ad.
The Trail du Canigou will take place on August 10 and 11, 2024 in Vernet les Bains.
