The house is a farmhouse. The area is rural and very peaceful. It is a very clean house, well maintained and with a nicely stocked kitchen. Comfy furniture and beds. There was plenty of seating in living room. However, there is a couple complaints. The 1/2 bath is in the musty basement and the toilet is unenclosed. There was a sewer gas smell throughout the house after we took our first shower.

I travel to Iowa at least once a year. Best Stay Yet. Everything about the property was great! Booking fees are astronomical, more than double the advertised price. If it weren't for that I'd definitely stay here again.
