This vintage log cabin welcomes you to the sandy shores of Swan Lake, in the heart of Minnesota's historic Iron Range Cities. Hike or bike the Mesabi trail, tee off at the Swan Lake Country Club, or visit the nearby homes of Bob Dylan and Judy Garland. Enjoy the hometown flavors found in local restaurants in Hibbing, Grand Rapids, and others cities in between.
Located about 80 footsteps from front door to dock, down a gentle slope, the Speakeasy Cabin features a pine paneled great room with wood burning stove, pump organ, and relaxed seating all around. The master bedroom includes a queen bed, while a second bedroom offers two queen size beds. The secluded loft also includes a comfy, full size bed. All bedrooms have soft and cozy linens to ensure you sleep soundly. A spacious bathroom includes a tub and shower, and the kitchen comes equipped with everything from pots and pans to dishes and cutlery. Many historic touches throughout the cabin give a sense of escape to a different time and place.
Grill something delicious at the lakeside Tiki Bar, while relaxing on the beach. Or, cast a line out at the end of the dock. Sunsets, sand, swans and a friendly game or two of Yahtzee are calling you to come visit!

We had an excellent stay. We had basically 5 adults and a toddler and never felt crowded. Everyone had fun at the lake. We spent most of our time running around visiting family so it was nice to have a relaxing place to come back to.We had a short power outage and both Carrie and Andrew were quick with communications and keeping us informed when it was expected to be back on.

The cabin was great! There was plenty of room for our family of six. It was really easy to get to town for whatever we needed. We were able to host a small BBQ with family, and everything we needed was there. Carrie also went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of! The lake was wonderful as well: beautiful, clear, and peaceful. It was exactly what we wanted for time away as a family.
