Sea La Vie - Port Douglas

Extended family stay with 2 sets of grandparents plus son & his family including 9 & 12 year old grand daughters. 4 good sized bedrooms with 2 shared bathrooms. Pool was great as was access to beach.

Only one carpark space as owner has car parked in the other. This wasn’t advertised as far as I can recall. A 4 bedroom unit will always need 2 carpark spots. Kitchen well set up but lacked basic supplies that generally come with units. Had cleaning products but no other consumable items. Had issue with neighbouring unit smoking in outdoor space and wafting over to our area. Meant we had to move inside. Contacted owners rep who got hold of occupants but nothing changed even when we confronted them ourselves. Aircon at 24 degrees wasn’t cool enough.

Great location and really well set up place with plenty of good equipment for a full house of people. Fantastic with little kids as park through gate and then the beach within metres.

Were expecting a mid stay service as per booklet and website but advised had been changed to over 10 day stay which was disappointing - we were supplied with some new bathmats and rubbish bags which was appreciated. I see the website has now been corrected.

Great location on the beach. A car is needed to get to town

Spacious, clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, very well equipped. Excellent air conditioning. Great pool. Best of all was direct access to the beach through the back gate, via a short walk across a lovely park with playground.

Not an easy walking distance to shops.
