Villa Baba Canggu

Absolutely gorgeous villa! The views from the balcony are so cute, looks over a bunch of rice fields. The downstairs area is exactly how it looks on pictures & the inside main bit is very quaint and simple. Water is HOT but signed wrong, so cold is hot and vice versa, and the hot water actually lasts too! Beds were super comfy, pool was lovely (also does amazing things for your curls). Good location slightly removed from the main strip though but quick 10 minute scooter there. Has a stocked kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, pool table upstairs (was missing balls though 🥲) with lots of seating. Secure gate for parking either car or scooters & is on a good strip for a little bit of shopping and food and stuff if you want to duck out quickly

Nothing about the property itself but beware that the construction guys next door & directly across can see directly into the villa and make very inappropriate and provocative comments and sounds (especially at night). One made a comment about me while I was in my towel coming from the pool & they can see straight into the main area when you’re sitting in there, especially at night so it can be a bit intimidating (especially if you’re all girls)— could recommend adding some blinds to the main section? Oh and maybe some aircon, gets scorching in there if you’re trying to all hangout together around the table

The pool was clean and large and perfect temperature The bed sheets were clean and bed was comfortable Wifi was excellent

The construction noise - every day The burning of garbage around us sending smoke into the property Taxis and Grabs could not drop off or pick up at the gate due to vehicles blocking drive way

I like the layout it was very open, and also the garden is lovely
