Cortile Gioeni Apartment

This was the nicest place we have stayed at so far on our one month Sicily tour. The recent renovation of the apartment was completed to a very high standard. Triple pane windows keep things very quiet for sleeping at night and quality shutters keep things nice and dark. We often left the windows and doors open during the day for a lovely breeze and never once saw a fly or mosquito. The bathroom is large with a huge shower with lots of hot water. Comes with a high quality washing machine with lots of extra cloth pins and several clothe lines to hang wet laundry. The large kitchen comes complete with all the necessary accoutrements including several good knives, cutting boards, quality cookware etc. There is a huge fridge and bottom freezer which has several ice packs so you can take a lunch to the beach. Also has a beach umbrella. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the ocean view from the patio. This was a little pricey for our budget = but absolutely no regrets !

The hosts charge an extra 2 euros per person per day for a city tax = I think at this price point it should be all inclusive ?

Fantastic location, very clean with excellent views & facilities.

The location is prime, and the space clean, well outfitted and ample.

The stairs, but they were not a surprise.

Super cute apartment, great bed and bathroom with a washing machine. Perfect location in the old town and close to everything. We loved Cefalu!

Lots of stairs, but we managed fine.
