Wells Court è sempre una certezza per chi ama soggiornare ad Hampstead quando si trova a Londra. Questa volta ci è stato assegnato un’appartamento meraviglioso all’ultimo piano, il numero 26, da cui si godeva della vista di Londra dall’alto, la City of London era ai nostri piedi, ma noi soggiornavamo lontano, nella tranquilla ed unica Hampstead. L’appartamento era moderno e dotato di tutti i comfort, tra cui due condizionatori portatili, che ci hanno permesso di sopravvivere in questa estate caldissima anche in Inghilterra.

We loved the proximity to Hampstead High Street for shopping, eating out & public transport. The property was easy to access, reasonably spacious, clean & tidy, & provided all the required facilities, as well as a washer/dryer. As we were staying during a heatwave, we were pleased to find a tower fan & an air conditioner already doing its job on arrival. The wardrobe space in the bedroom was unusually generous for a holiday let, & much appreciated for a nine-day stay.

The building is situated on a busy pedestrian thoroughfare, with a small square and seating in the shade of a large sycamore tree, so be prepared for early & late noise. There is also outside seating for cafés. I personally did not find the noise intrusive, but rather characteristic of this more exclusive area of London! As a tea-drinker, I was surprised to find no teapot in the kitchen &, despite the video, struggled to get the settings right to use the oven. As older people, we would have appreciated something to help prevent falls in the shower.

They could provide more amenities…1 roll of toilet paper and no coffee pods nor washing powder pod. Plus no change of towels after 4 days unless pay 22 £
