Amapola Ocean - recién reformado, frente al mar

We stayed for 14 days in the same apartment, AMAPOLA Ocean, in November 2025 and were very satisfied with both the accommodation and the service at that time. Unfortunately, during our current stay we noticed that the condition of the apartment and the level of service have slightly deteriorated since autumn, which is disappointing for us. We sincerely hope the host will be interested in addressing these issues, because we would genuinely like to return again in the autumn — in fact, we already have reservations for three apartments, which clearly demonstrates our continued interest in this accommodation. The issues we experienced during this stay were the following: Bedroom • The bedroom door mechanism is practically not functioning correctly. When trying to close the door (pulling it towards yourself), the handle feels loose and there is a risk it may come off completely. • The ceiling fan in the bedroom was not working. Living room • None of the cabinet doors under the TV can be properly closed. Even after multiple attempts, the doors remain misaligned and partially open. • Although we requested assistance and a room service technician arrived very quickly after our SMS request, the local TV channels could not be restored. During our stay in autumn 2025, the local broadcasting worked properly and provided very useful local news coverage. Terrace • Guests naturally walk barefoot on the terrace, but this has become quite uncomfortable because of the large amount of loose cement fragments that were originally fixing the stone tiles in place. Compared with autumn 2025, the condition has noticeably worsened. Service • During the entire 14-day stay there was no room-service inspection, no towel replacement, and no bed linen change. During our stay in autumn 2025, towels were definitely replaced after one week, which we consider necessary for a stay of this length. Despite these comments, we appreciate the location and overall concept of the accommodation. Martina
