Nice clean place.. good airy rooms

Location is OK. Come out of the hotel & walk for 100 m or so & you get to see nice views of Ganges & hills in the background. It is presently in a quiet place - not much traffic on the road. A good departmental store is nearby & so are a few nice cafes. Hotel too has a small in-house cafe - we wanted to try but somehow we missed. Room & bathroom were clean. Boy who looked after during the night hours, promptly provided us with hot water kettle, extra pillow & water bottle. Bathroom has a hot water geyser. Nice closet. Hotel has a lift.

Room is quite basic - 2 single beds put together, a small plastic table & 2 chairs. No TV (we didn't miss it though). No phone (for contacting the reception). Water dispenser is available on the ground floor in case you need a refill. During check out no bill was provided - we were told that if we need a bill, GST will be charged extra - but when we showed the booking voucher indicating that total amount paid by us was already inclusive of GST, we were told that he will speak to the owner - but when he called, owner did not answer the call. First night was noisy - probably a group of youngsters who stayed up till late - no noise proofing. By paying a 1000 bucks more, you can get a much better room (with nice views) on the road facing Ganges. Yoga / meditation is available only when large groups are visiting.
