The location is very rural and quiet - perfect for relaxing - but only 10km from Gouda (and a couple km to a supermarket). The accommodation is very comfortable and quirky. The area is great for cycling, with Gouda, de Haar Castle, Kinderdijk and Utrecht all within reach for day trips.
The stairs to the bedrooms (upper floor) are steep. It wasn't a problem for us, but might be an issue for some.
