Altstadtalbert & Altstadtnest Dachterrasse und Parkplätze

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und modern eingerichtet, obwohl man sich in einem historischen Haus mitten in der Altstadt, in der Fussgängerzone befindet. Alles Schöne direkt vor der Tür, Cafes, Restaurants, der Marktplatz, Einkaufen, unweit die tollen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein bequemes Sofa ist vorhanden, die Küche großzügig und mit allen Geräten, die man so braucht. Trotz großer Hitze draussen war die Wohnung (sie ist im Dachgeschoss) angenehm temperiert, es muss eine gute Dämmung vorhanden sein. Nachts lüften geht auch gut, weil man ja weit oben ist. Privatparkplatz top, es ist nicht weit zur Wohnung. Sauber ist es auch. Perfekt! Wir haben uns zu zweit sehr wohlgefühlt.

Für mich ist die Extra-Gäste-Website etwas umständlich, weil ich nicht so IT bewandert bin, vor allem nicht unterwegs per Handy statt PC; aber andererseits hat man dort alle Infos auf einen Blick und kann auch Nachrichten senden.

The rooms are large, very well lit and very clean. The beds were comfortable, just be prepared that it is really just one separate bedroom, as the 2nd bed is in the living room, but a curtain is around it. I’m not listing this as a negative, but the noise level in the evening is just the reality of being in the middle of the pedestrian zone - you will hear voices until sometimes 2am in the morning. At the same time, all you have to do is walk down, and you’ll be right in the middle of cafes, the Albertplatz is just around the corner, and lots of restaurants in walking distance. The way the apartments are laid out is that there is a smaller apartment in the back with a nice courtyard, and we stayed in the front. So, it’s a trade-off between large apartment in the front with some noise exposure, or a more quiet smaller apartment in the back. Personally, I would have preferred the smaller apartment, but we had lots of luggage and it was good to have the 2nd bed, so we liked the space. The host, Katharina, was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. She responded quickly to questions we had. Also, the parking is fine. It’s a little bit away, but a short walk up the pedestrian zone.

The only thing - which will be easy to fix - is to get a larger, more stable table. It is just a very small table, and it’s literally the only place to sit when you want to work with a computer. There is no separate desk. When I saw the table and the very nice chairs in the other apartment, I was all jealous.

Die Lage am Marktplatz war für uns perfekt da wir alles zu Fuß erreichen konnten. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und insgesamt sehr gemütlich, toll ist auch die Dachterrasse, es gibt sogar einen Grill.

nichts, wir waren rundum zufrieden

Wir sind davon ausgegangen, dass unser Zimmer eine Terrasse hat. War aber nicht, die Terrasse gehörte offensichtlich zum Nachbarzimmer. Das war bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich. Außerdem hatten wir vorher Probleme mit dem Online Check in und deshalb eine Mail an den Vermieter geschickt, die aber leider nicht bzw. zu spät beantwortet wurde.
