Nice house/no bedlinen,no towels/cleaning is your job/spiders/extra payments for electricity
We spent 5 nights here in August with our two kids. The place is cozy and has everything you need in the kitchen, though some of the dishes are a bit old and rusty. The garden is lovely, with beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed making a fire and picking blackberries.
No bedlinen or towels provided. This was not mentioned on Booking.com at the time of reservation. When I tried to cancel after finding this out, Booking was fine with free cancellation, but Novasol refused and I spent hours on the phone. After I asked about borrowing it, doesn't helping much, because they don’t deliver bedlinen to the house—you have to drive 50 minutes each way to pick it up, and it costs €12 per person. Cleaning is your responsibility. You receive a list of tasks to do, but there is almost no proper equipment (only a broomstick, mop without a bucket, and no gloves). Spiders. This is more of a natural issue, but worth mentioning. At least the bedroom has window protection. Outdoor shelter. The shelter shown in the pictures is no longer there, which was disappointing. Overall, the house and surroundings are cozy and charming, but the lack of transparency about linen/towels, poor customer service from Novasol, and the cleaning situation really affected our stay.
