Excellent apartment, fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Great location with restaurants nearby and a funicular within walking distance. Very convenient access to the central part of Lake Como by ferry and bus, and in mid-April there were no crowds, which made travelling around very easy.

I really liked the location and the beautiful view of the lake.

Cheap price

It wasn’t very clean. The bathroom had mold on the walls. Dust and hair on the top of the trash can. The faucet in the bathroom felt like it was going to fall off. In the kitchen there was an old dirty crusty rag and that was the only linens for the kitchen. There is no microwave in the kitchen. Basic things were not supplied (no coffee, no laundry detergent, no oil or salt and pepper to cook with). The owner speaks NO English. The place is very difficult to find. I submitted my arrival time through booking.com and there was no instruction for arrival and no one there. After not being able to even locate the property (we were driving) I called the owner who seemed surprised anyone was even checking in. Through very broken conversation he met me there. Only then was I able to locate the property. The parking that is provided is pretty far also. This place should not be rented to more than 2 people. It is WAY too small. When the sofa bed is made in the living room you cannot access the bathroom and the end of the bed is pretty close to the stairs also. The blanket for the sofa bed was disgusting with stains and rips everywhere
