Would definitely consider staying here again if revisiting the area.

Comfortable, spacious apartment, close to bus and train station for users of public transport and close to a wide selection of cafes and restaurants. The hosts responded to our queries promptly and in very good English (my French is not good enough for conversation). Chalon is a clean, pleasant town with a number of it's historical sites undergoing restoration. There was a good selection of multi lingual tourist information in the apartment, also a small selection of toys and colouring materials for younger visitors.

The nearest all day free parking is about a 20 minute walk away, there is a small carpark opposite the apartment which is free between 7pm and 9am and on Sunday, however this fills up quickly during the free periods. We arrived about 45 minutes early and could not access the keys, so we waited until the agreed arrival time, thinking that the host was going to set the code at that time, but apparently the cleaner had changed the lockbox code prior to our arrival, unfortunate but not really a complaint, a couple of text messages sorted it out.

Parfait pour une nuit mais ce n est plus un duplex .

L emplacement est top l appartement est spacieux et confortable avec un magnifique bar .

Salle de bain sombre et douche petite le haut de gamme est peut être ambitieux pour la douche et le balcon étroit. Mais ça reste très correct pour une nuit de passage .

La pire expérience en France, même avec Booking.com. Nous n'avons même pas été hébergés. La pire maison de la place de Chalon-sur-Saône, complètement vide. Je joins des photos. Nous devions verser un acompte, mais nous ne savons pas pourquoi, car nous ne sommes même pas entrés. Les couloirs étaient sales, dégoûtants et hygiéniquement insalubres. Il y avait des sacs poubelles et une odeur nauséabonde. Mauvaise communication. J'avais rempli un questionnaire lors de la réservation, mais le propriétaire voulait en remplir un autre. Nous avons perdu notre hébergement. C'est absurde d'héberger des Européens comme ça.

Arrivée tardive possible sans aucun problème, grasse à une boîte à clés. Appartement très agréable, propre, spacieux, au centre de Chalon sur Saône. Parfait pour une nuit étape sur la route des vacances.

Un peu surprenant à mon sens de devoir déposer un caution bancaire de 250€ juste pour une nuit… mais bon, la restitution a été initiée très rapidement après avoir libéré l’appartement (le jour même).

Très confortable pour l'escale que nous avions à faire.

Très pratique l'accès grâce à une boîte à clef. Par contre, heureusement que j'ai pu contacter les gérants car je n'ai jamais reçu les instructions par booking.

Pour le temps que nous sommes resté c'était suffisant, nous avons par contre rencontré un problème avec la hotte. 😓

Attention, après la réservation sans que vous soyez prévenu, vous aurait une caution à payer d’un montant de 250e malgré qu’il vous indique que celle ci n’est pas débité, ce montant a bel et bien été débité de mon compte. Habitué des réservations sur Booking (je suis Genius niv3, niveau le plus élevé) je n’ai jamais vu cela. Malheureusement je ne recommande absolument pas ce logement. Je trouve que ce n’est pas correct de ne pas informer le client au moment de la réservation, on vous l’indique une fois la réservation faite

Aufgrund des netten Vermieters kommen wir gerne wieder

Die Wohnung war immer sauber, warm und zentral gelegen. Wir nutzen sie oft zum Pendeln zwischen Deutschland und Spanien.

Diesmal hatten wir Pech. Nicht so sauber wie sonst und leider war die Heizung kaputt gegangen- die zwei kleinen Heizkörper haben die große Wohnung nicht wirklich warm bekommen
