Excellent

Hidden Gem Hostel is a really clean hostel. There are strict rules about the hostel which make the hostel better. In the hostel you must obey the quite hours rule and behave good. There are enough bathrooms and toilets, you will never wait at the queue. Generally silent hostel that you can sleep well. Also Sinan helped so much, such a great man.

There were no events at all including weekends. Not so much spaces in common areas to socialize but they are trying to improve the space. For me this is not a con but if you want a ‘party hostel’ this one is not for you.

Right in the Center of everything . Very clean and seclusive. Full size of kitchen. The owner Sinan is very friendly and goes extra miles to accommodate my need of a lower bunk bed and extension of stay after check out! Will definitely stay here again next time.

A warm and welcoming hostel that truly feels like home thanks to Sinan’s hospitality. 🌿

Sinan was incredibly friendly and welcoming — he took the time to explain everything about the hostel. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests. The place was very clean, cozy, and had a warm atmosphere. Hot water was always available, which was great after a long day out.

It would be great to have lockable lockers to store bags and valuables safely.

Perfect for Hostel!

This was my first trip and also my very first hostel experience. It turned out even better than I expected – very clean, great service, and a calm atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and perfect for those who prefer a quiet place to sleep. Honestly, I didn’t find anything I didn’t like. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend it.

The best place to stay in Belgrade

Wonderful place to stay in Belgrade. Clean, well located and lovely atmosphere in Hidden Gem. Sinan also good host and he is helpful. Rooms are specious , there is also lovely balcony, garden and full equipment kitchen. Highly recommended.

Great time!

The hostel and the atmosphere are super friendly and comfortable. Sinan is a very nice host and takes care about his hostel and the guests. The rooms and bathrooms are always very clean. The location is in the city centre but it’s quiet and the hostel has a terrace. You can easily walk everywhere. Thank you for the nice stay!

Hidden gem indeed

It was lovely. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease. Location was great if you want to stay close to the fortress and main shopping/nightlife. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Hostel itself was well managed and very clean.

Very good place for a transfer stay

The staff is nice, room is very clean, also suitable to those who prefer quiet sleeping time due to clear house rules. The toilet is also very clean and well maintained which is a plus. Location was good, close to city centre with lots of supermarkets and bars and restaurants.

No sign on front of street to suggest where the hostel is. Took me 10 minutes to find it but if you contact the host as you get there he'll come out to meet you 👍🏼

Will definitely come back once I’m in Belgrade

As an anxious introvert, I don’t often stay in hostels since I need privacy and cleanliness around. However, this hostel is just perfect for someone like me! Rooms and shared facilities are spotless. Rooms have windows and thus enough fresh air. There are enough bathrooms, they are very clean and well-equipped, with paper towels. The hostel is very quiet, and while the host is very strict about the rules, this makes the place perfect for someone who wants to rest and not party. I stayed one night and the hostel was not really full, but the hostel employs a quiet policy at nights anyway. PS Italian parmesan the host kindly shared was delicious!

Everything seemed fine, although granted, my stay was short. Maybe the kitchen area could benefit from an additional Wi-fi router.

Excellent

This is a small hostel in the centre of Belgrade, 5min walk to Kalmegdan. Due to the location behind the main building, it's very quiet and the quiet rules are strictly enforced. This is not a party hostel! The manager Sinan is very friendly and helpful. He's normally around the hostel or easily contactable by WhatsApp. The place was kept spotlessly clean. I've rarely been to a hostel with such clean bathrooms. There were 4 bathrooms and I think 4 dorms so no waiting times. I stayed in the female dorm and there was plenty of room for backpacks/cases plus a locker by each bed. I would highly recommend this hostel for a chilled stay in Belgrade. If I return I will definitely stay here.

A quiet place in the city center

I think the hostel is in the best location in Belgrade. The owner of the hostel, Sinan is friendly and helpful. He does his best to help you when you have a problem. It has a very nice terrace. It is the best hostel to stay in Belgrade. You won't regret staying there.

Nice and clean hostel right by the old center of old Belgrade and Dorcol with all its cool cafes and bars. We had a private room on the top foot and everything was nice and quite and clean. Very recommendable!

A great and calm place to stay

A great place to stay especially if you are working remotely, the balcony is beautiful and calm, the host is very kind and keeping the place well maintained, it’s 5 minutes walk to downtown and there’s supermarket & bus station nearby. The internet is super great which is very important for me.

位置：距离共和广场很近，从72路下车地走到青旅完全没有问题，周围也有公交可以坐。青旅地处老城中，周围街道很多咖啡馆，饭店，还有小超市，周围还有一个中国人的超市；房间：干净，整洁。host每天定时清洁。我住的是女生房间，房间宽敞，有带锁柜子，可以放贵重物品。床头都有插头。整个宿舍楼上楼下有三个洗澡以及卫生间，同时厨房区域还有卫生间；每天都有打扫，host提供沐浴露还有洗头膏； wifi只在客厅区好，在宿舍以及厨房信号比较弱，很容易掉线 host 热情好客，有问必答。青旅规矩很多，但是如果您有什么特别要求的时候，可以互相沟通。尝到了host的意大利的cheese，还有rakija；host时间观念较强，入住的同学需要严格遵守host的checkin 时间，不要提前。

1.需要提前到达的同学，需要严格遵守host的checkin时间或者提前到达寄存行李的时间，不要早到，以免造成host情绪激动，也影响自己的入住体验； 2.习惯手洗衣服的同学也请注意，host是不准手洗衣服的。但我因为情况特殊，跟host商量后他也让手洗了少量衣服。 3.host每天打扫清洁的时间内是不准客人回青旅的； 4.厨房早上9点后才能使用，这让习惯早起的我每天早上都无法喝上热水。

Fijn verblijf!

Centraal gelegen dus alles makkelijk lopend te doen. Sinan was een fijne gastheer met duidelijk hart voor zijn hostel en dacht goed mee. Hij bood me zonder extra kosten een plekje in de vrouwenkamer aan omdat ik anders met 3 mannen op een kamer lag en hij wilde per se dat ik me comfortabel voelde, dat was heel fijn. Het was er erg schoon! Rustige sfeer en op het balkon kun je gezellig contact leggen met medegasten.

Badkamer is wat verouderd en douche is krap.

Vielen Dank Sinan, für einen außergewöhnlichen Aufenthalt! Das Hostel ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe hergerichtet. Sinan tat alles, damit man sich richtig wohlfühlt. Vom Rakija bis hin zum selbstgekochten Essen. Sinan gibt einem eine familiäre Atmosphäre und macht einen Aufenthalt in Belgrad umso schöner. Wirklich ein Hidden Gem in Belgrad!
