Great family weekend in St Andrews. We all loved the house

Cosy and homely. The house was big and suited our group of 9 perfectly. We enjoyed meals around the table and playing games after our meals. Nice living room to relax in with space for us all. Our grandson loved the fire pit and he lit and enjoyed his first fire….. with help Lovely bed linen and towels and kitchen was super well equipped. Handy for supermarkets and the town centre as well as the beaches. Barry was a great host and responded quickly Loved it

In parts it’s a bit dated but we didn’t mind. Also a couple of people said a separate upstairs toilet apart from the en suite would be a good idea. We will be booking again

A great base for visiting St Andrews as a family.

The property is well placed for visiting St Andrews, about half a mile from the centre. It is spacious, with good facilities for large groups and, if the weather is suitable, good outdoor facilities. There was plenty of linen and the kitchen cupboards and drawers were labelled to show their contents. The Wifi was reliable and there were comprehensive folders of welcome and other information. Although there is only drive parking for one car, there are on-road parking places close by. There is a good range of stores within easy walking distance (Aldi, Morrisons and Marks and Spencer Food), as well as convenience stores and takeaways.

A couple of the beds showed signs of age (missing support slats and detached dowels), but were usable. The property is obviously popular, to the extent that 2 of the refuse/recycling bins were full when we arrived, so bags of general waste had to be left in the open. The freezer space was limited by food presumably left by previous visitors and substantial ice build up.

Fun, different, lots of space and we met up with our whole family.

The location was good, we know St Andrews very well so we knew exactly where it was. The house has a lot of character and talking points, I wish we were all a bit better at chess!

We enjoyed our stay, I didn’t like the weather on our visit, was mainly wet and stormy but I liked the accommodation

We absolutely loved Scotland and will definitely be back. The Garden House will definitely booked again.

Your beautiful home was cozy and had all the amenities to make a ‘home away from home’ comfortable. We were able to grocery shop right up the street and then walk into town, shops, restaurants and of course THE golf course.

Everything, great big house, lots of room to spread out, clean, a home from home. We were also kept well informed by the owner and none of our enquiries, the who's, what's, why's, when's and how's that a group of guys bring to the table we're all dealt with and answered with patience and good humour. Welleth doneth!!

The only thing we could come up with was the shower head in the bottom bathroom wouldn't stay in its holder! 😂 Shockerooni!!

Good location

Great location: about 15 minutes walk from town and 20 minutes to beach. The house is well equipped and our group has a pleasant stay.

It was a little tricky to park extra cars at instructed area as it was a busy road we found better on street parking at the opposite side of road from the house.

It is huge…and it is old world which fitted in perfectly with our trip to the Old Course in St Andrews

La casa es hermosa, grande para un grupo familiar, ubicada en un pueblo hermoso, tiene un patio para disfrutar de una linda cena alrededor del fuego. Las habitaciones son grandes y muy comodas. Hay dos supermercados a 200 mts. Realmente muy recomendable para pasar unos días de relax!
