Athens industrial design apt 5 min from Metro

The location is central, the place was clean

The soundproofing of the place is non existent. You can hear whispers from one room in another. You can hear the neighbours like they are sitting with you in the same room. And as it central you can hear the crowd outside. We book an apartment with the kids so we could enjoy a relaxing evening when they go to bed. This was unfeasible as they could hear everything. I was kept awake by neighbours coming back late and other neighbours leaving at 6 am. Lastly, for a family friendly place I would expect at least 4 chairs and not stools, big enough dining table for a four-people meal etc

The location was super. It’s a fully renovated space with modern fittings. With everything you need especially having 2 bathrooms . Great hot showers, great hair dryer and comfy main bed . Great kitchen with toaster and kettle.The elevator works well.The double entrance doors and street door made it very secure. Hotel Plakia is a great roof top bar 6pm to view the Acropolis and its a couple of minutes away.

The entrance was gloomy, as its an old warehouse style building. But once you get in the apartment it’s bright with many light options in each area. Wish there had been a couple of kitchen basics eg oil sugar herbs S&P

Fabulous location -- walk to almost everywhere you want to go. Great restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream places etc etc all around. Apartment is equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Clean; beds good, water in shower is hot. Very responsive hosts. Description on the Bookings website is very accurate.

Not a concern for everyone, certainly not me: the apartment is simply designed, and a bit roughly constructed. Some might want something a little more luxurious.
