The owner of the property was incredibly lovely and generous. I was very tired on the day of arrival, and she kindly allowed me to check in early without charging any additional fees. Communication was always prompt and thoughtful. She even offered us her free-range chicken eggs and brought us milk to meet our dietary requirements. The view from the main room and the backyard was spectacular. This place truly felt like home; it reminded me of summer holidays at my grandmother’s place back home. Very comfortable and deeply healing. We will definitely be back again.

Nina met us and provided the key, very friendly and explained the set up of the property. I had rang early to get clarity about some aspects, Nina used the information from our conversation to ensure the property had additional comforts to cater to my elderly parents. Very kind.

Lovely location, close to centre of Mt Barker. Comfy bed.

Cat wee smell coming from 2nd bedroom. No iron. Price a bit steep.
