Super ideal location -- a few steps from the main square, and overlooking a different, quieter square. I visited for Inti Raymi, so there were parades and festivals happening everywhere, and it was great to have a retreat tucked in adjacent to all of the activity. There was excitement and sounds from the festivities, but the host supplied earplugs, so that wasn't a problem.
The apartment is very spacious, which was great -- this was the final stop on a longer trip, and the extra roominess let me unpack/sort/repack as I continued to find great things in the nearby markets.

It’s very close to the downtown square where all the shops and activities are.
Very difficult to check in. There is no reception desk, everything is managed by messaging on the staff on WhatsApp. It’s more of an apartment complex, not a hotel. We were charged in USD when my confirmation shows CAD. I raised the issue with booking.com and they refused honour the original price. I have screenshots to prove it. Was supposed to be $79 CAD then they converted that to USD which charged me over $120 CAD. Should have been $56 USD. Also breakfast was supposed to be included and there is NO breakfast spot in the apartment building.
Will not book on booking.com again.
