The modern and stylishly furnished, non-smoking vacation rental “Haltern am See” is located in the basement of a newly built single-family home. The very well-equipped vacation rental features a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and access to the garden. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy both the charming surroundings and the comfort of the vacation rental during your vacation.
The “Haltern am See” vacation rental is situated in a low-traffic area, in the heart of a residential neighborhood along a spacious greenbelt in the downtown area. It’s about 1.2 km to the market square, home to the historic town hall, the tourist information office, shops, and restaurants. A visit to the lovely weekly market is just as highly recommended as a trip to the Roman Museum (about 1.8 km away) with its interesting exhibits. When the weather is nice, the beach on the south shore of the lake—about 3 km away—is a great attraction. Just a few meters further on is the entrance to the Westruper Heide, with its extensive heathland and beautiful hiking trails.
Cyclists will find numerous bike paths around Haltern am See. The themed trails “100 Castles Route,” the Roman-Lippe Route, and the Hohe Park Nature Reserve Route are just a few of the options. The nearby Hohe Mark Nature Reserve is also ideal for hiking and Nordic walking.
